It brought tears to my eyes and filled me with aww to see this historic footage of the beloved Indian motorcycle come to life.It trully makes me proud to be born and raised and to die in Massachusetts where the wigwam building in Springfield once stood and where our great nation began.

Re: Assembly line at Indian Motorcycle Factory in Springfield, Mass.

Think about this. Indian hasn't started selling bikes in California, likely do to emissions regulations in the state. How much tax revenue has California lost as a result of their idiotic and suicidal "environmental" regs? What about exhaust swaps? How many jobs have been lost, or earnings not made, because Sacramento is filled with morons. Motorcycles and the motorcycle lifestyle have a huge economic impact, and they employ a LOT of people, from the vendors who supply the factory, to the waitress at the diner along that weekend ride, but the people in Sacramento, and now in DC, are completely detached from reality, and almost everything they do has a negative impact on the people and economy of this country. I hope all motorcyclist, and all other recreation vehicle owners, take time to seriously contemplate that fact before every election, from now on.

Neat old video of the original Wigwam. I don't imagine too many guys put the engines together these days with a heater (cig) dangling from their lips though! How about a video of the new factory assembly process?
